Personally, I like the sound of the Mesa v-30s to the t-75s. They're very in your face (mid heavy), where as the 75's to my ears have a more scooped sound. It's hard to take all of these comments in because we all hear differently, and have different preferences. When you get back from holidays...

Check out RJM, if you haven't already. Their products are top tier along with their customer service. You'd probably benefit from the mini amp and mini effects gizmo with the RJM Recto cable.

Check your diodes and resistors! This happened to my co-guitarist's Fireball 100. Volume would swell in and out. Tried cables, guitars, tubes, and prayed that a transformer wasn't going. Turned out to be $200+ at my local shop, or much cheaper if you tackle this on your own. You should be able...
