I run my Peavey 6505+ with a Mesa 2x12 Recitififer cabinet and have not felt the need to change it. I also occasionally run my Peavey 6505+ with a Mesa 4x12 Oversized Slant Rectifier Cabinet and it is also very nice. So, yes my vote is for the Mesa 2x12 Cabinet. Good luck and enjoy.
