I feel that gaming is going to build some steam on Linux soon. The games that do run for Linux are extremely smooth though. I don't mean as in running though wine, because that in itself still has issues.

Use masking tape man. Just don't leave it on for too long, or you'll get a sticky residue that no one likes. There are ways to get that off, just in case though. Good luck!
I would recommend looking into circle k (kalium) strings. They have their sets well thought out, much more than most mainstream string companies. You can custom order a set of strings as well. The downside is that the strings loose their luster after about a month, and when they go, they go.
I tend to play as much as I can. This can very from 30 minutes, to around 4-6 hours. I have school, and it's pretty intensive, but I still find time for music. Hell, if it weren't for music and playing guitar, I would probably have gone insane.
