Wow, congrats! looks stunning! How long did it take before you got it, and how does it plays? I placed an order for a very similar guitar a week ago (DC727, rad green, Maple fretboard, black hardware and Walnut body). I can't wait for it to arrive, and this isn't helping  Anyway, happy...
cool i'll try it out! Have you tried the Hiway cab? It's great. I got some tips on tweaking my tones from this site. MeAmBobbo PodHD Tone Guide - Contents It's all Metal machine EZX with a bit of processiong on S2.0. Pretty straight forward though, the stock tones from MM EZX are great...
Hey everyone, time for yet another demo of the Pod HD! This time i managed to get a pretty satisfying tone out of the Uberschall model, by lowering the low mids before the amp and boosting it using a TS model. Finally, i used the Hiway 4x12 cab model. Take a listen HERE Thanks!
Here Is my little studio Setup. Pretty simple, yet very effective and the workflow is great right now. I just had my main monitor. My other monitor, to the right, has once been my only monitor. :ugh:.
I would also look into the very beginning of the riff, it starts out very abrubtly, I'd add a very short pick scrape or something to make it easier to the ear. The snare is somewhat agressive to my ears and i would add a fair amount of bass to this mix. Good job though, I loved the phrasing!
sounded pretty cool to me! The track has a cool vibe going on. I personaly would have made it a bit fatter overall though. But good job still! I LOVE that first riff! I tried S1 a couple weeks ago, and while i enjoyed it, I was bummed a bit by the fact that it won't load 32 AND 64 bit VST's...
Hi, if you have balanced outs on the firestudio, you can use a jack-to-XLR cable IIRC. For headphones, I use Audio technica's ATH-M50. They are a great bang for the buck, you might want to check them out.
Thats very cool! I'll try it out later today! http://line6.com/customtone/tone/218678 The patch is here, I may have tweaked it a tiny bit since that time, but it should be pretty close! I'll try this one too! i know i really like the line 6 electrik too, wich is the old uber model if I...
If you get a POD HD pro, you'll be all set as far as hardware goes, for at least guitar and bass tracking. There is even a mic pre on it for vocals or acoustic instruments. I'd say stick with Reaper if you're on a budget. I've been using it for over 4 years now and still love it. It's also...
I'm all on double tracking too. It can give great results, and save a lot of troubles (phasing issues between tracks as well as minor errors on each tracks). I'm pretty sure Ola Englund always double tracks, and he gets great tones. Regarding eq'ing and compressing, i won't add over what Their...
cool! Next time i'll check my kick for a fatter tone, and my snare overall(i have to say the snare is pretty much my worst enemy though  ) Anyway, your feedback is really appreciated!
Thanks for the feedback! The snare especially is quite low. I actually lowered the OH because i found them too present. The Kick IMO is loud enough though, but if you feel it is to quiet as well, i'll take it into account.
