I'm not a huge fan of these styles but i do like 1 or 2 songs. I wanted to experiment with some djent/metalcore tones for fun, also wanna record a track at some point so i come to ask your opinion, are these legit tones for such style of metal? I uploaded 4 demos here...
nope, i was just switching between presets, but nvm, i just bought fortin custom diffuser and sounds super good, i really like it! I'm using line 6 fatality amp which sounds great with my fishman pickups.. they are a bit lo-fi so the fatality is the only one that doesn't sound muddy. Also...
well.. watch this This is supposed to be right side: And left side: notice how it changed all the mics :S i did a preset some minutes ago with the angl pro30 and a BLX414 mic and sounded great, then it disappeared from the list  but i noticed it happens when i surf through the cabs...
Thanks for the answers!, i have a question: has anyone had problem loading the presets? i just did a preset and saved it, then i loaded it again and the mic i used disappeared from the list!
Hello! i recently downloaded wall of sounds just to try it and it's amazing, sounds really natural and now i wanna make my first purchase (well i already bought a license from ebay which included 8 cabs but 3 of them are usable) and buy a great sounding cab but.. since there's a lot in the list...
i use rechargeable batteries and they only last 1 day, just like EMG's. I always record stuff so my pc is always on and my guitar plugged to my interface.. i'm pretty sure if i unplug it it will last longer. IDK how much it would last just connected to an amplifier.
what i do is to scoop al the whistling sounds and make the guitar sound like shit, then i start to decrease the gain scale/mix/wet idk (in fabfilter) until it sounds good and then i finish removing stuff but removing too much makes the guitar sound really bad, is important to keep a natural sound
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1NV_vq5wp4WBN-CnN-NCWTuolLGF-WpNS/view?usp=sharing well here is it, the first 7 seconds are just the old gtrs then recorded some riffs again (you can notice the sound difference)with new strings also added an analog alesis eq to the signal chain.
The Blackouts seems to be really loud at the 1-2k area, i think you can hear it while the fishman have that area really scooped which makes them sound good. I also tamed some frequencies in the 3-5k area, just small surgical EQing. Btw it was pretty easy to make the fishman sound good(or...
Maybe not a fair comparison, i just used a shitty interface with 1 month old strings. I remember using a cheap DI box and the high's were noticeable boosted. It all started because i was looking for reviews about the babyface, maybe if i buy one i will update this. About the losers:
they have a really tight low end and overall are well balanced. Fishman fluence are kind of bad for acoustic stuff.. they sound really muddy. But i must say i like both.
