@Necris appreciate the words of wisdom. I agree with you, think I am over thinking it. Installation and setup of the instrument is not an issue as I'm able to do that myself and have all the necessary tools. But yes ur right I should probably wait to hear what it sounds like before I buy extras.
Redsub as far as I know are a "home brand" for an eu music store gear4music. Hoping its going to be OK for what I need it for. Cheers for your comment though. Any thoughts on pickups / preamps?

I couldn't say, the neck isn't as flat as my schecter c7 hellraiser. Its definitely c shape but quite thin, thinner than the schecter id say, doesnt feel meaty or chunky to me, tbh its probably my favourite out of all other guitars I've tried.

Faces ,oh the faces. I find guitarists faces the, strangest. I'm majorly guilty of it, the funny jaw wobble when concentrating hard while practicing, seems like automatic thing, im not even aware I'm doing it
