I'm a huge fan of the Edge Pro. I love the build, feel, and stability. Is it worth the extra $150 to you though? I've still never touched a Floyd Pro, so I have zero knowledge of the stability or quality. I end up blocking every trem in my guitars, so I base my choice solely on how it feels...

I'm with everyone else. Throwing in $250 pickups doesn't ever add $250 in value to most buyers. That's all subjective, so you're better off giving them the most common option available.

I'll also 2nd the idea that the Schecter SLS series is not total crap. I know it's not a ringing endorsement, but I was damn impressed with the SLS C-1 EX I picked up. My only gripe with it is the TOM, and you wouldn't have that problem with the 8. Do I think it's on par with a Mayones? No...

Good call. I often use "list price" in place of advertised price. MSRP is the most irrelevant thing that has no business being around. The advertised price on Gearhounds is still higher than anyone actually pays unless you just click "buy" without talking to the retailer first.
