    The Chilli Experience

I like hot chilli.. I bought an extract called Biohazard (6.2 million scoville) normally I'd let other people put a dab on the end of a toothpick on their tongue, normally i'd put about 5mm of the end of a toothpick and stir it into a a meal to heat it up nicely, except one time round a friends...

    Bass removing tone knob?

Yeah it's possible, basically what you'd do is put a capacitor and the pot in parallel between the hot of the pickup and the output/volume. As you increase the resistance more of the signal is forced to go through the capacitor, cutting bass out. As for what values of pot and capacitor would...

I've got an x-ray of my skull... though these days they're usually recorded digitally, with no actual x-ray to be handed over

Any Boss OC-2 Octave users here? (or any octave)

The OC-2 works pretty well gives a nice synthy bass sound, it recommends playing high up the neck with your neck pickup with the one rolled down... which I found i needed to get a decent sound off my SG, but seems to work better with my RG2077XL even on the low frets with the bridge pick up...

    I love drop A tuning appreciation's thread

Well F# sounded ok to me, lol.... guess it varies a bit from person to person where you can't hear the really low bass.

    I love drop A tuning appreciation's thread

Dunno about drop A, cause I tune to A standard so gotta go down to drop G... though tuning to F C G C F B D is a fun tuning... you just don't want to play an open low F5 cause it sounds crap least to me.

Please read this! (not a joke)

Not sure there's such a thing as a "cure" for autism but there's certainly a lot that can be done to help people with it. My sister has aspergers syndrome, a higher functioning type of autism.

    Moving neck forward

Ahh it's only a couple of extra lbs over the D string with a 56 gauge I've got 4 springs in after installing the tremol-no, I did have 5 in before that :hbang:

    Moving neck forward

Yes I have used lighter strings before, but don't like them, lol. On the other hand my dad thinks we may be able to machine a longer bit to fit on the front of the saddle... After we've got half a dozen other things done and have set up the lathe, lol.

    Moving neck forward

Yes this is on the 2077XL. The saddle is already mounted on the rear hole for intonation. The action is set pretty low, had already thought of shimming the neck and raising the bridge a bit but gain even the 2mm extra length it wants for the saddle to be held in place i'd have to set the angle...

    Moving neck forward

Ok I'd like some opinions on doing this. Due to using an 80 gauge as my low string on my guitar the string saddle on the bridge has a tendancy to pop up due to being set right back to get intonation right. The easiest solution I can see to this problem is trying to move the neck forward...

    Tremol-no

Well this arrived this morning... Gonna spend a while on it once the trem is loose it's time to clean the fretboard then get it all together :hbang:

    Tremol-no

What can i say? I'm good at breaking stuff :fawk: Probably why i'm being got to chisel up the kitchen floor atm :wallbash:

    Tremol-no

Yeah but knowing my local guitar shops i'd end up waiting 3 months for them to actually order it ;) As it is airmail is free so no P&P charge :p
  17. Dave

    Tremol-no

Yeah but when you're skint an extra £4 adds up, lol

    Tremol-no

Err springs, still not woken up today and i'm having a jam a bit later, lol. Ordered it from Allparts UK.. though went for the cheap airmail shipping, lol.

    Tremol-no

Well I've just order myself one of these... being in the UK i'm assuming it'll take about a week to get to me. Would probably be a good idea if i ordered a new trem bar or 2 as well, I've broken 2 in the 4 years i've owned a trem equiped guitar, lol. Would I be right in assuming I can only...
