@Matt08642 that tracks pretty well with what John is saying in that video. And looking at the specs for your interface, it looks like it's pretty hot even at 0 gain so your results make sense.

I always thought that the PRS Custom 24 + Petrucci pickups is the closest/best alternative to the Majesty. It's not a perfect match, but it checks enough of the boxes while avoiding the preamp, boost, piezo stuff, and a slightly thicker neck. I'm sure some would disagree with that, that's ok.

Yeah, but a boost and peizo are things I really really don't want. I'd buy a passive non-peizo Majesty in a heartbeat. These things don't justify the large gap in price IMO.

Just installed a set of DiMarzio Illuminator pickups in my Custom 24 Quilt and it sounds phenominal. I loved everything about this guitar out of the box except the tone, and now it's perfect! I'm definitely going to get a 594 in 2024.

So, while I'm waiting for a replacement, I was doing a bit more research, and I found out that the 30w anniversary speaker is made in China, while the G12H-EVH that I currently have in this cab is made In England. Now I'm thinking that maybe I should stick with this England made speaker instead...
