That's right. Except typically the numbering is stated in the reverse order that you posted (position 1 bridge HB, etc...). And the split coil position is both inner coils.

The finish is a big part of it for me. Nice classic Ibanez vibes with the RG7621, the current RG752 are gross to me.

Agreed, if they still sold them now with the exact same specs I'd buy it over any of the current offerings. Such a workhorse guitar.
