I'm really intrigued by the Horizon Devices Clarity Compressor. I'm waiting to see some review and comparison videos. I'm kinda wanting a hardware compressor pedal (as opposed to in the box) so this has me interested.
The plan is to stain it too so it looks like a finished piece of furniture. Will look much better. But yeah, I like being to store that stuff away when I'm not using it. Also, all the cables come in from a hole in the back so it doesn't look messy.
I thought that someone might bring that up. The cable is plugged into my small pedal board behind the guitar. I should of taken another picture lol Edit: Yeah, regarding the pickups, all my other guitars have DiMarzios in them. I love every DiMarzio I've owned/played. And I have never really...
Yeah, it's nothing crazy, just another Prestige AZ that's been around for a while. I also know that a lot of people here are tired of the roasted maple neck/fretboards but I love this guitar. Of the available colours with the HSS layout and the floating bridge, this is my favourite. Although...
You didn't say which amp sim you're using. From what you've written, I think it comes down to getting better at dialing in tones. Find presets from people who are good, or even buy a few to get started. I would not change monitors, those are highly regarded if you check audiosciencereview.com...
Ok, so I know this is a solved problem. But when I was conducting my research, I mostly found threads on the Les Paul forum with no damn pictures! So I thought I'd make a thread which shows some pictures. Might help someone in the future looking for this. I have a brand new PRS SE Custom 24...
I could be wrong, but I feel like anyone who's going to focus in on the drums of a song, is picturing themselves sitting at the drums (picture someone playing air drums while listening). Even non-drummers do this. So for that reason I think it makes sense that it's drummer's perspective.
** UPDATE ** Ok, so recently I found this post on reddit which provides EQ settings to make headphones flatter. I guess it's like Sonarworks but free. The downside is you can't apply it system wide unless you get some additional things in place. I simply built the EQ settings with ReaEQ and...
@LunatiqueRob It's interesting that you have a mix of high end guitars and some mid tier. I'm curious about your RG8. Have you done any mods to it? Pickups, electronics, bridge, tuners?
