i have a 2 space head/4 space rack unit I got used and i really liked it for a while but overall it is pretty impractical. For the record I only had 1 head in it and filled up the other head spot with a tool box full of spare cables, tubes, strings, picks, screwdrivers and wrenches pretty much...
Does that go for me too?? We'd love to get over to VT. Now I just need to get my drummer to pull his head out of his ass. He's been MIA for like a month.
i am not sure what happened besides he explained to me several times how much financial trouble he was in, and had to return to a 40 hr. a week job. He was very pleasant and apologetic throughout the whole process. But you can only be so nice when you make someone pay up front and tell them...
well I do have a IOU from Dave to reimburse me for the speakers so we'll see if that comes. I am just glad to have salvaged something from the transaction at this point. Better than having it be a total loss as I had pretty much begun to think.
oni there may be hope!!! I recieved a shipping invoice from estes trucking for the cab this morning. although it is unloaded and i paid for loaded I am real glad to atleast get my very expensive speaker box hehe. Now I just pray it shows up undamaged :nono:
I have 2 schecters and I love them. I play them more than my jackson rr and my esp eclipse most the time. I almost always play them out because I worry less about something happening to them compered to my more expensive guitars.
after reading this thread I tried dialing in some high gain rhythm tones on my 6505+ with the crunch on channel 1 and I cant say I really liked it. Too much bass and not enough compression. But thats just me!! and I dont know much hehe.
really depending on what pedals you are running. I am not real farmiliar with the triple rec. but I do know pedals are notorious tone suckers and can destroy your signal. if U are running a lot of pedals but dont use them much I would suggest using a looping pedal to remove them from the...
I would try and go there and talk to the manager or owner. it varies depending the bar and the area and how shows are usually done in your area. but heres what I know. I have done quite a few diy shows with bands ive been in and usually you either split part of the door with the club in order...
oni I dont really want to drag him through the mud persay. But i Have held on this for a while (6 months) and just wanted to reach out and see if I was alone in this endeavor. If there were really people out there with the cabs and what experiences they may have had in getting them.
I dont really know a good way to put this and i dont want to bash anyone but I need to know has anyone had any experience with Dave Mills and Mills acoustics? I ordered a 4x12 afterburner from him 10 months ago and I still have not recieved it. I have spoke with him probably 30 times and have...
if i could find an engl fireball for under $1000 id be all over it. but if i have to spend the big money I am strongly thinking splawn nitro cause i miss my modded marshall. although my gas changes a lot . somewhere in my future there is a fireball, nitro, uberschall or a pitbull...
problem solved!!! I called this am and the mesa was gone, called about the peavey XXX and it was gone. so those were the only 2 decent amps used I found locally and I really didnt want to go new. I strapped on my big boy pants did some more research figured out where I went wrong resoldered...
It was over a year ago when my marshall was at voodoo, and it took a bit longer than was originally quoted so I bought the 6505+ for a show and a backup. then I wound up liking the peavey better than the marshall so I sold it. So I was eluding to the fact that I could and am hoping to have the...
well so tonight after much research and purchasing of some 6.8k resistors i decided it was the night to bias mod my 6505+ so I could get the bias up around 35mA or so. pulled it apart located the resistor to be swapped and cut it out. soldered the 6.8k resistor in place and buttoned it back...
thank you Ak I am still not sure wether to keep the bundle or opt for the cheaper route to see if I get into recording or not. I guess im the only one that can make that decision.:ugh:
