i would look for new amp. it not cool to go on stage if you already know that you're not sounding the way you could. you wont feel good and it will show on stage. find an amp that will sound the you want it to.

i have a marshall jtm45 clone. and its sounds freaking amazing to my ear. it's really responsive to the way i play and i like that. it not a high gain amp, but i can really get the tone i like form it.
