Just kinda play only downstrokes do quick "DUD-bursts". Keep it consistent. E: My very own rule of thumb: use upstrokes ONLY when necessary. Really necessary.
Cheers to you all! Now totem brought up an important thing I forgot to mention. The chuggah! I've been leaning towards the Nailbomb, but you who have experience please tell me, does the Nailbomb give me enough chugga to beat the shit outta my ears?
Hi ya'll. I've come to the conclusion that the JB which came stock with my ESP Horizon just doesn't cut it for me. I have in my Schecter a Warpig and it pretty much slays. Maybe a bit too much. So I've been thinking of getting a Nailbomb on the bridge. But I've also heard that Lundgren kicks ass...
Well the difference is not huge, very slight actually. Although I never made a clear A/B comparison. With the mod the sound is a bit warmer. To me it's pretty much the same difference whether or not it's modded. It cost me only a 12-pack of beer for a friend so I went with it and no regrets :)...
I am familiar with Pro Tools and I've gone all that through. Still latency.. And a little update: My monitors have always started making a really high pitched noise when I start Pro Tools. (when I shut PT down, the noise disappears) When I change buffer size, cache size, sample blablabla, the...
I got a huge problem... Today I tried to record with Pro Tools. I use a POD plugged straight into my Mbox 2 Mini. For some reason I get a huge latency! I tried to fix it from the Playback and Hardware etc. but it didn't help. What to do?
I switched from Cubase SX3 to Pro Tools LE 7.4 and I have no regrets what so ever. MIDI programming seemed complicated at first, but when I got into it, there were no problems at all. It's a least as good as Cubase. I'm using it with an Mbox 2 Mini. Highly recommended!
Cool! Yeah, Haukilahti is very near, I've been to the beach a bunch of times. And yes I remember Riki Sorsa. He quit singing awhile ago because he got throat cancer. He lost all of his teeth and his singing voice as well.. That's pretty sad. Man, this thread went off-topic quick haha :D
Well fuck, I didn't notice you were plugging your own book :D I sent you an email through that site. So, do you ship in Finland? I hope it won't cost me more ;)
There are guitarists who are completely helpless with gathering up a certain training routine. I fall into this category as well. I was wondering if you guys could share your routines with other players, to help, inspire and develop other guitarists with their skills. What different...
I know, another ENGL-thread. Sorry about that. So. I got GAS for ENGL. Serious GAS. How do these two amps compare? I've beenn wanting the Invader so long but I hear good things about the Savage as well. Pros? Cons? Other descriptions? The floor is yours.
Thanks a lot. Let me tell you, now after a few days into having this gtr, I like it more and more! It just gets better, I don't know how :D Anyone found the scratch already? ;)
Pics! I don't have pliers, so the strings aren't cut yet. Damn it's pretty :) Cooooool If you can spot the scratch here, I salute you! As I said, it took the price 25% off: Here you can see the colour pretty well. I like how you can see the wood, eve though the paint is pretty...
Damn, I don't have a camera here. Tomorrow I'll see! Btw how do you like the JB-mic? It's pretty good, but with alder I fear the overall sound might bee too bright or fizzy. I like BKP and have been thinkin of a Nailbomb at the bridge. What do you think?
