I had a Viper 400 for about a week and I've had my Ec1000 for a month or two now, and I'm really a fan. I've wanted a 7 string to dick around with for a while and get my xBREAKDOWNx on, and its only $350 :scratch:

There's a Viper 407 on CL for pretty cheap, with OHSC in new condition, should I do it? I'm trying to save up for a Mark V, but it seems like a pretty good price. What say you, SS?

Very much so. Their old stuff is more like old DGD/Emarosa. Their guitarist was Sean O'Sullivan who was the original guitarist and on Downtown Battle Mountain.

I owned a Viper 400 for about 10 seconds, but I played the fuck out of it while i had it, I currently own an EC1000 and I've recorded with several LTD 300-400 models. I can vouch that its a killer guitar, not just for the price. Sounds great, plays grea, and I really like the ESP neck profiles...
