    Fame Guitars?

If only they used a different name than the one they also use to market super low end stuff imo.

    NGD Ibanez RG450M

Thanks for the offer but I'm saving my money to buy a RGT220/RGA121NTF as soon as one pops up online. :)

    Post Your GAS

I've been gassing for natural finished RGA/RGT's quite some while now. RGA121NTF RGT220A/H/Z And another constant on my gas list is a Carvin JB200C: I'm currently saving up money to be able to snatch one of those guitars up the minute I can find them online. :yesway:

The moment of truth : Skervesen raptor NGD (56k GTFO)

Amazing guitar! I love how it matches your bed covers.

    Horrible/dumb music salesmen stories thread

I couldn't agree more. A year ago I decided to get my own place and had to buy all sorts of electronics (refrigerators, washing machines,...) of which I did not know anything about. After half a day of online research I went to the shop and came to the conclusion I already had more knowledge...

    New Mark Morton Dominion Pro---Ivory!

If I had to take a guess, probably this guitar: Not exactly my cup of tea but classy nonetheless.

    NGD Ibanez RG450M

Ugh, now I have the urge to find myself a maple necked Ibanez, thanks! Looking forward to the progress on this one, I think white or purple Dimarzios might look killer. (Even plain black ones should do the trick)

Trying to match AxeFx metal tones...elevenrack

Great tone indeed, nice chops man! The drums are however a bit to high in the mix, but I guess that's not the focus here.

NGD - Edwards E-MA100-SD cherry sunburst

I know that feeling all too well, feels great to be able to start over again, doesn't it? Nice guitar, what amp are you using?

    Fender/Squier Group

A few years back I bought myself this Squier Stratocaster Simon Neil Signature. I didn't even know Simon Neil, but for some reason I could not resist this Fiesta Red beauty:

    What was your first guitar?

It was a Sunburst Squier Affinity Stratocaster. After I got my first decent guitar, I tried modding it but failed miserably. Ever since then I've always had the urge to start modding guitars again, but the fear of failing again like I did with the Squier holds me back. :(

    NGD - Ibanez SZ2020EX Prestige

Looks like I'm not the only one who feels compelled to buy different variations of the same guitar. Awesome collection, I'm not a real fan of the SZ's neck profile, but damn they do look fine!

Which 7 string for a First time buyer

Depends on the tuning you want to play in. Since you are used to the Les Paul's 24.75" scale length, it will take some adjustment to get used to the Agile's 28 5/8" scale. In that case the Chapman ML-7 might be easier for you to get familiar with, since the scale length is "only" 26.5"...

NGD: Ibanez Prestige RGA121H CDO (Another one)

@lewstherin006: More balanced than the stock set, a bit less output but more defined sound. Overall a great pickup, but aesthetics wise, I'm not digging the chrome torx screws thought, oh well. :)

NGD: Ibanez Prestige RGA121H CDO (Another one)

Thanks, it's hard to find a Prestige guitar that's not jaw-droppingly beautiful, so I'm not going to take credit for it. :) @ OmegaSlayer: It's a Dimarzio Mo Joe in the bridge and a LiquiFire in the neck, previous owner was a Satriani fan I guess.

    Caparison guitars talk

They're amazing guitars, although I only had the chance to play a Dellinger, I was pleasantly suprised. However, it seems that apart from the TAT Special CL14, no current production Caparison guitar has the following combination of specifications: -25.5" scale -Direct mounted pickups (I...

NGD: Ibanez Prestige RGA121H CDO (Another one)

I'm actually liking the LiquiFire/MoJoe combination, I would have picked the Tone Zone / Air Norton combo myself. They sound a lot more balanced all around, more clarity in the low-end but less treble-y highs. Harmonics come out a lot better as well.
