herro i have emgs and i want blackouts, you all know the story however, i want to sell my emgs and make something off of them. What other electronics are included with the blackouts that i could sell with the EMGs? or maybe i could just replace the pickups themselves, and sell the other...

update; this was ultimately a truss rod issue that i've finally got figured out, now it's playing far better than i ever expected. hopefully my noob mistake didn't do too much damage to the loomis' reputation :/

is this why they don't make sets like the one i described in my original post? i'd just like to be able to bend the higher strings easier and have a tighter low end, so there a better way to achieve that?

i've read that the loomis' stock string gauge is 10-56, is this correct? i'd like the top strings to have a little bit less tension and the bottom ones a little bit more, so i was thinking about doing a set that goes something like this: .09 - .11 - .16 - .28 - .38 - .49 - .60 i realize...

i just recieved my new loomis and it plays like a dream :shred: however, after lowering the action, i can't bend at the 17th fret without the note dying almost immediately. i'm stuck between having high-er action and being able to bend that note, or having orgasmic action without being able to...

thanks for the links, i'll definitely check those out. that's also what i've been doing for the past couple years, but am trying to get away from it because i don't actually know most of the notes. i simply use the ones i do know on the low E string as reference for where the patterns begin...

how do you all go about memorizing scales? do you look at them as patterns, or do you memorize what notes are sharp/flat on the fretboard? i'm trying to look for the fastest method of memorizing any particular scale all over the fretboard, so i was wonderin what you all do yourself.

a couple days ago i adjusted the truss rod on my schecter and it played perfect:metal: but yesterday, i picked it up and it didn't feel quite right, the action felt a little bit higher, so i tightened the truss rud again just a little bit and it was back to the way it was a day before. anyone...

i just did the exact same thing over at musiciansfriend, but for me i had to enter it at the payment page. see if that works
