Peavey Valveking vs 6505+ vs ???

So earlier this month i was asking about the peavey windsor/VTM because I was on a budget. but i realized recently that neither of those have a second channel, and 2 channel amps are more expensive. So i was looking at either the Valveking ii or the 6505+ While I like to dabble in several...

    Two notes loadbox alternatives?

I got a rock crusher (not the recording but the regukar) used for 250 on reverb. And it is built like a MFING TANK. If you're running it into your computer it's great and you can still use the two notes software. Let's be honest, for pure studio use, most people say to bypass the two notes cab...

    Peavey Windsor question.

The amp in the video wasnt boosted and had a lot of sag. But a tube screamer would add more precision

    Peavey Windsor question.

Oh ok. So it has less gain than a 800? How about with a boost? I find crunchy mid tones work best for low tunings right?

    Peavey Windsor question.

Never heard of the VTM60. Sounds interesting. Can you post some good recordings using it?

    Peavey Windsor question.

Yea I've seen that video before! Great tone. I just wanted a few more opinions. But now I'm also interested in the new valve King

    Peavey Windsor question.

I've seen mixed things about the valveking ii 100. How do y'all feel about it as far as versatility? And doing stuff below drop C? The only one I've seen in a huge radius from me is one store had a 20 watt. But for lower stuff I've heard you need a higher wattage without the EL84.

    Peavey Windsor question.

That's interesting. I've heard of the butcher. But I've never heard anyone talk about the butcher, nor the valve king as far as versatility even into the low tuned stuff. Care to go into specifics?

    Peavey Windsor question.

Well who wouldn't want a JCM 800. But the cost.

    Peavey Windsor question.

So I haven't seen a lot of talk about the peavey Windsor being used for low tuned rock and metal. But I was wondering: since the JCM800 is one of THE metal amps, used by radio rock and death metal alike. Couldn't the Windsor then be an amazing metal amp?

    What lunchbox head and cab?

I have a VHT special 6 112 Great cab. Got it used for 89 dollars but runs new for about 160. It's a custom VHT speaker that's British voiced with a modern flavor. I like it a lot for the bedroom broots

    What lunchbox head and cab?

Dang. I played one in a store and it seemed really fun. That sucks. Guess I have to save up for a full size if I want the sound

    What lunchbox head and cab?

What's wrong with the 6505 mini? The reviews seem good

    Rivera Rockcrusher question

So I've been using the Rock Crusher as a load box, since I live in an apartment. I used a small 15 watt amp, and I could not get the Line out feature to work. That was, until i turned the line level all the way up,and the gain on my Audio interface all the way up. Then it came through, but still...

    Sad about the tiny terror

Saw a video on oranges website today that was commemorating the 10th anniversary of the tiny terror. it said that they will only be making a handful more Tiny Terrors over this year, and that they would be hand wired and about 3000 dollars. After that, they will discontinue the TT completely...

Can the orange micro dark terror handle low tunings?

Again, a little dramatic. You may have owned tons of amps and this was a deal breaker, but the demos sound legitimately good. I can't afford a peavey or a Mesa. I need something low wattage because I'm in an apartment. So many other low wattage amps are pretty expensive. And most 15 watt fully...

Can the orange micro dark terror handle low tunings?

Idk about unusable. They said having 1 buffered pedal would fix it. And I currently don't own any pedals, so I know to get a buffered reverb or delay now. Or just the TC Bonafide. I think I can make it work since I'm coming from ground 0

    Best value cheap-midrange cables?

Yes length will cause high end drop off, but as far as high quality cables: copper is copper. As long as there's sturdy connections and good shielding, you're good. Don't fall into the trap that expensive, vaccum packed, ionized, ultra Rez cables are any different.

Can the orange micro dark terror handle low tunings?

I know Live, Devil Wears Prada uses a rockoverb with an orang 4x12 sounds pretty chuggy. Not sure how differently the rockoverb and the dark are, but either way, it sounds like I'm going to be happy with my purchase.

Can the orange micro dark terror handle low tunings?

the dark terror and the jim root terror yes, but this only has 1 pre-amp tube, and a SS power section, so similar voicings but i figured they had different tonal capabilities?
