My vote would go for the A/O set, I previously had juggs in a regius which were great and had a very specific voicing, worked well for the drop G#/A range, I also have a set of warpigs in my ibanez rg. The low end is tight and massive works superbly for the drop C/B range. Imho they don't really...
I can vouch for this being a fantastic guitar, I've previously owned this and it's effortless to play. The BKP Juggernauts sound amazing and the Schaller bridge is ridiculously comfortable under the right hand. You'd be on to a winner whoever buys this guitar.
Happy NGD. it's a lovely guitar for sure, I had the choice between this and RG652ahmfx and ended up going with latter. They're really really good guitars, play-ability wise and aesthetically. I'm in the same boat as you with the bridge pickup, It's waaaaaaay to muddy. Can't wait to remove it...
The low end flub I'm getting is ridiculous, even with a drive pedal and 10-band EQ in front on the amp it's still overly flubby. I actually quite enjoy the tone zone when I'm doing leads. It's fat and not too trebly it's just the low end for rhythm playing. At the moment I'm leaning towards SD...
From the demo's I've heard online I've not really liked the tone anyone has got with them. The only one I did like was Jake Bowens video so I'm a bit sceptical.
Thanks for the advice, I forgot to mention my setup. I'm Using an Axe Fx II running a 5150 iii model with a 10 band EQ and a Tube screamer block in the chain and it's still too loose for my liking. I've tried to get rid of the lower frequencies and it just thin's out the tone a lot and doesn't...
I've recently bought myself a brand new toy to play with, It's an Ibanez RG652ahmfx (silly old Ibanez names) While I'm very very happy with the guitar, Aesthetically and playability wise. The pickup's on this Guitar leave a lot to be desired unfortunately. The Guitar has an Ash body with Maple...
^^ That's exactly what i did.. Wasn't getting anywhere with Emails so i gave him a call to make sure everything was alright.. my guitar shipped a week later.
Yeah that's my Siggery, I'm selling it for a few reasons. In the time it took to build my taste in music drastically changed and I no longer play the same material any more, which is a crying shame because this guitars fantastic. Everyone's heard stories off people saying they come with a...
She look's and play's beautifully! Just having to get re-used to the thicker neck, I've recently been playing skinny ibanez necks so I have to re adjust haha. Homer's right, its a Claro Walnut top :D
