Just got this Peavey Classic 100 today! The other guitarist in my band has had one for about 3 years now and I've been jealous ever since he got it. These amps are awesome. Not a super modern metal machine, but perfect for what I do and it's loud as shit.

I literally have the same exact vet 30/gt-75 combo in an x pattern in my marshall 1960B and it sounds great. The WGS speakers are definitely awesome. I think the Veterans sound very similar to Vintage 30's. The differences are minimal.
