I prefer both of those to Sailor Jerry. I bought Sailor Jerry as part of my on going quest to try as many different rums as I can find. So far, I'm the only person I know who likes Bacardi Big Apple and Captain Morgan Tattoo. :ugh:

Other than the enormous headstock, I like Heafy's guitar. Corey's is "meh" imo. It's nice to see a departure from super strat shapes regardless.

The only 7 I can think of that may meet your needs (other than the Dean Rusty sig), but they're not cheap. I also can't say whether the necks are fast, but a couple people could weigh in on that. Manne Guitars - Guitars' page

Not that I could afford a new guitar, but there are designs I'd rather see Rob build than an Explorer. I like the guitar he built for Steve Rice; I think that'd be cool choice as far as designs go.
