Schecter KM-7 (Keith Merrow) Signature Thread

The two guitars they had Evertunes installed on for Conquering Dystopia recordings were Loomis models that had the floyd route filled before routing out for the Evertune - I'd imagine if you're looking for a way to lose tone then that's how it happens. Mine sounds amazing with the ET, not much...

    Schecter KM-7 w/Evertune and EMG 57/66

Bump - Can also ship in original box if you don't want the case. Just found the original Hipshot bridge as well, but will probably sell separately.

    Schecter KM-7 w/Evertune and EMG 57/66

No work needed on the pickups or pickup routes aside from maybe clipping a bit off the tabs; mine only needed one corner of one tab shortened a hair and it was tab-specific, not pickup or route specific. The battery box was the main issue. You won't be able to fit a battery in that small control...

    Apogee Duet 2

I'm selling my Apogee Duet2; it's been a workhorse for the last year but I've recently moved to something bigger. Note that this isn't the latest version that's compatible with iOS devices and has MIDI I/O, but is one of the earlier Duet2's that only works on OS X machines. Same...

    Schecter KM-7 w/Evertune and EMG 57/66

Brief & Accurate Description of gear/guitar: Schecter KM-7 Keith Merrow 7 string in black burst satin. I purchased this new from Sweetwater in July of 2014; it's only been used in the studio and is in wonderful (like-new) condition. Modifications (if any): I had an Evertune installed by Fren...

    Unbelievable Parker Swirl.

Parkers are weird enough that it looks like the whole thing could be made from some weird layered plastic and not be just a swirled finish. That looks awesome.

EMG 7-pin (TW) cable with a 3-pin pickup

I actually made a couple 3-to-7 and 7-to-3 pin converters to hotswap EMG models without worrying about that; none of they match up sequentially - what I ended up doing was ordering spare quick connect cables, cutting them, and soldering the ends I needed into PCB pin headers to plug into the old...

    Northlane - RA

Really liking this, and absolutely loving the new singer. Soundscape is huge... Will did some really cool stuff with the wet FX and gtr layering on this record.

    MIM Jacksons

So you ordered an MIM and got an MIJ? Or you have an MIJ and ordered an MIM? If it's the former, I'd say you lucked out but I have had great results with the Fender FMIC stuff out of Mexico, you just have to play around a bit to find a gem.

    Speakers, Speakers & Speakers...

It's really hard to go wrong with V30s for the most part, but I also really love the Lynchback speaker. Not a huge fan of Eminence; okay live, terrible mic'd up.

    Peavey discontinued Ultra series amps?

They've been re-branding that same basic amp since it was called the Ultra and the logo changed colors with the channels - I'm sure it'll be back.
