    RG7620 Neck, Lo-Pro Edge 7, EMG 707 + 81-7, DiMarzio New7's

If nobody wants the neck + tuners combo in the next couple of days, I'd consider it yours. Can go back to the original arm assembly pretty easily, had to file a tiny bit for the OFR arm but not enough to prevent the old one from going back in. I'm going to a show at the Wiltern on Saturday...

Ibanez RG7620VK - EMGs, brass block, etc.

I dropped it to $450 and have already said I'm well open to offers. Would also be willing to part this one out, if people want to make offers on the neck (in almost perfect condition), trem, pickups, etc...

Ibanez RG7620VK - EMGs, brass block, etc.

Asking too much? I'm really not sure what the value would be given the lack of case, but addition of all the upgrades. Feedback would be much welcomed on this one - daddy needs a pair of Dynaudios! *EDIT* Price lowered after this post. After some research on pricing, price lowered to $450...

    John Mayer douchebaggery?

100% tongue in cheek, I'm positive, just like the other recent interviews. I find this entire situation absolutely hilarious, but I know I'm in the minority. "I make money, and fuck beautiful chicks."

    Universal Audio 6176

I absolutely love these preamps, and the 1176 comp is one of the best ever made. It's a very, very 'warm' sounding pre, and has some great depth and color to it. Be warned, though - the 610 pre has the tendency to distort on louder sound sources. I used one for kick, bass DI, and vocals on the...

    Synesthesia

I have it, with sounds & color as well. Not with specific notes, but I see vivid color when hearing sounds; people's voices have specific colors, certain instrument parts in songs have a color, songs in general have an overall color, different production styles have different colors, etc...

Running out of RAM while mixing, any tips? (Cubase 5 and Vista content... yeah...)

FWIW, your RAM isn't what you're running out of while mixing - only softsynths use RAM. Plugins eat up CPU power.

    First 7: NGD

Fucking ace dude, that thing looks awesome as all hell! I bought an RG1527 off of Buz 2 years ago, he included a tour pass and some of the same picks - was totally unexpected and totally awesome!

    NGD!!!@

Honestly, I like the tuners quite a bit and have no desire to switch to Sperzels, even though I have them on my other guitars. I had a C-Pig in mine for about a day; yanked it, absolutely hated it, but I'm not a BKP fan to begin with. There's a surprising bit of fullness in the low mids to...

Another EPIC NGD!!!Music Man JP 7 BFR - flamed top orgasm inside!(56k don't even try)

Absolutely gorgeous, but (in the pictures, at least), your top two tuners were turned the wrong direction when stringing up, so the strings are coming off the wrong side of the tuner and are angled when entering the nut, rather than being straight.

    DAW's FOR PC (poo-base fail)

I have to disagree - I have Cubase 5, Logic 9, and ProTools 8 + MPTK. Logic's flextime thing just isn't reliable enough for me to trust it automatically doing stuff (not to mention stretching drum tracks at all screws with phase coherency and you're not seeing where any cuts/fades are being made...

Share your 64-bit recording environment experiences

99% of my plugins don't work in 64-bit mode, so it's not really been of benefit to me. None of my sampler-based instruments (Superior 2.0, Trillian, Omnisphere) are 64-bit yet, so the increased RAM capabilities aren't really utilized (3GB switch in XP makes a LOAD of difference, though!). I use...

Preview of our Metal Blade Debut!!!!

Hey man, I edited drums for Dave Otero on the new album. This material is ridiculously sick - I'd be really surprised if this album was met with any bad reactions. It's like a melodeath version of Nevermore or something... just stupidly good material and amazing musicianship all around.
