I think, what is even better than the rectoverb is the tremoverb. The tremoverb is not as tight, but it is a nice dual rectifier.

Is the power amp section really the key of the mesa rectifier tone? I read that that is the case a few times. And by "rectifier tone," I mean the sponginess and the "wide" sound of a rectifier amp.

The website and the manual mentioned that you can bypass the amp simps. What I like about this DigiTech unit is that it has the octave stompbox modellers, but MXR Blue Box is not included though.

Wow, the DigiTech GSP1101 is priced fairly, and has nice features. That is one good competitor considering the price difference.

So, do the g-system loops really suck tone? Is it when they are used only? Or even when the loops are off?
