    Valveking Problem T_T

I don´t know about the valveking, but that topic aside I had pretty good success in killing the snap and twang on my 7620 by changing from D`Addario strings to GHS Boomers. Maybe it´s worth a try. All the best

    Warmest 7 string bridge pickup

Try another brand of strings (e.g. GHS Boomers) and picks made from another material (celluloid, for instance). Both measures worked fine for me. All the best

    EMG707 and clean tones

I really can´t get that "high-output-pickups-do-not-work-with-high-gain-amps" gospel some people are spreading. It works really fine for me, I just DO NOT crank the gain knob as far as possible. The I don´t know a lot pickups that are as balanced as an EMG 707. All the best

    EMG707 and clean tones

I have a ESP Ltd H-307 with dual EMG 707, and they sound fine clean, especially when switched together: Very clean and bell like. Do you know the song "The river dragon has come" by Nevermore? In the intro you can hear exactly that sound.

    Question on the 7620

The first RG 7620 had no bubinga neck stripe, but on the later models Ibanez started to build the necks with a bubinga reinforcement strip.
