Thank you. How could I forget? I am sitting next to my keyboard as I type this! I own a Casio Privia px-800. It has outputs for 1/4" line, midi, and usb. What would I require to let it act as a midi controller for whatever program I have on my computer?

I intend to buy the gear I need over time, so as long as it's not ridiculous I should be good. I'm saving up about $100 right now to get started. When I make more money I'll buy more stuff from the wishlist.

I've been playing violin a few years, I screw around with my friend's cello sometimes. I have another that is learning upright bass.

I had to do this when I took my squier down to F using 13-72 set. Surprisingly easy to fix up.

I actually went for the 13 - 72 baritone set, I had to drill the hole for the tuning peg a smidgeon wider for that low F, I wish I were joking.:lol: I was going to buy an 80 bass string if things weren't how I wanted, but it just fell together great. :hbang: But surprisingly, I'm really happy...

I just did a bit of work on google and ordered a set of baritone strings that go to 72, I thought it might give me an edge over the zakk strings. ^^ When they arrive I'll immediately fix that thing up and get back to you guys. Big thanks to everyone.

That's a great idea, I'll get right on that, though admittedly I'm not so much a fan of his work. :lol: Of course, if someone informs me of strings that would better suit me I'll buy some of those too, experiment with it a bit.
