NGD: Ormsby Hypemachine Claro walnut burl

Great review! I've been Perry's endorsee for ten years now, and I have to agree with all points. I came from an endorsement with a major guitar brand to sign with Ormsby, and have never regretted the move. A major talent in guitars, for sure. :hbang:

    Ormsby Freak

Hi guys, I've only just found this thread - sorry I'm late. Jerich, you're too kind, mate. The money's on the fridge. :yesway: I've been playing Ormsbys since 2005, when Perry built me two beautiful guitars - a six and a seven. He's since made me another six string, and you'll...

    Who's In A Gigging Band?

I play mainly instrumentals in my solo band, Graham Greene & The Happy Sinners, and mainly vocal tracks in my other band, Resonance Project. The good thing about these bands is that they have exactly the same lineups - the singer just gets more to do in Resonance Project. :-) We toured to...

We just got back from a gig at My Dinh National Stadium in Hanoi - it was an absolute blast! :hbang: We don't have any gig shots yet, as we were too busy/frantic to take any ouselves, but here's a few pics from the soundcheck on the afternoon of the show:

Tell me about it... I once got mistaken for Vai three times in forty minutes - at a bloody Vai gig. Now, I just correct people and tell them that HE looks like ME... :fawk:

I don't mind at all, mate. :agreed: It retails for about $3025.00 Australian, although I have to admit I didn't pay for mine, since it's my own signature series (GG are my initials, hence, GG6 and GG7). All the specs are on the Equipment page of my website, if you're interested.

    Instrumental band performances

I agree with Ahab... sorry - Drew...;) It may be a bit of extra bother to rehearse a band in for a gig, but the first impression you make may score you more gigs, so it's worth it in the long run. I'm just rehearsing a live band myself after recording a 'solo' solo album, and the...

So a buddy of mine saw Zakk Wylde in a hotel.

Quote (Leon): he should have decked him while he had the chance :fawk: ...or sprayed him with disinfectant. :fawk:

    Ibanez Acoustic 7, string gauge?

I put a set of 11 - 47s on mine, and add a 56 for the low B. Probably a little light for what you want, but it works for me. :o)
