I haven't tried GuitarPro ( any version ) at all... It doesn't bother me that the sound's naff, just being able to hear the pitch & timing is enough for me.

What's a good volumizing conditioner for beards? I've tried Laboratoire Garnier's "goatesse" with nutrichinium but it just doesn't give me the body & shine I crave... Because I'm worth it.

I have a Squier 7 string & it's actually okay ( after I set it up ). Sure it was cheap, I got it off ebay, but after a minor fret-dress, new strings, trussrod tweak & trem adjust it's pretty good for a beater... Maybe I just got lucky!

I still play my 6strings quite a lot. Strat & lap-steel for blues. I keep the cittern in my bedroom for casual strumming/noodling or for working out ideas that just come to me, or for taking camping etc. I find that swapping back & forth between 6 & 7 keeps ideas & hands "fresh"...

I use those Zakk Boomers too, they're nice & un-muddy. I'm using a "hybrid" set made up from these, 10-70, no worries! If you don't want to go that heavy use the Zakk Wylde 10-60 set with a 26 for the middle string...

Those wound g strings are a bitch to keep clean...
