    D’angelico Guitars

You know I bet those D’angelico single cutaway guitars are very comfortable to play. They certainly look like they are. I have a double cutaway DC model and it is a really solid guitar. If you are into solid body electrics they do make those as well. However, I have yet to try those out...

    D’angelico Guitars

I get it. Everyone likes something different. I actually own both an Epiphone Dot (MIJ Elite Model) and a Dangelico semi-hollow. I like both for different reasons.

    D’angelico Guitars

What do you think of the current D’angelico guitars? Do you own them or have your played them in a store? Also, why don’t they make a seven string hollow for jazz? That only seems like the right thing to do! If you own one post yours below. Here is my guitar:

    Badlands Guitars, another youtuber brand

I don’t doubt that. He has amassed a huge YouTube following (which is quite a big accomplishment). If you have an audience that likes you and listens to your advice, you can definitely turn those into buying customers.

    Badlands Guitars, another youtuber brand

Well as they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder (or beer holder). With those guys YouTube following I’d imagine there would be at least a hundred customers for their guitars.

    Badlands Guitars, another youtuber brand

There isn’t any drama. I just can’t see the appeal from buying a guitar that is associated with two out of shape, middle aged guys who can’t really play guitar themselves. On the other hand, I very much understand that using your YouTube channel with a lot of subscribers will indeed get you...

How did the Ibanez AZ series become so popular in recent times?

The Ibanez AZ is really a versatile guitar and it can appeal to many different styles of music. I think that’s why it is such a winner.

    Badlands Guitars, another youtuber brand

I like the look of the guitar. It reminds me of the old Aria Pro ii “The Cat” guitar or mid 80’s Westone guitar. However, the price is a bit high and the fact that the brand is associated with The Tone King and Phil McKnight is just a hard pass for me.

I have yet to try PRS pickups in any of my guitars. I hear a lot of good things about them.

    What are your favorite pickups?

I know this topic might objective since different pickups sound better in some guitars than others. However what are your favorite model and type of pickups? I personally like Hagstrom’s stock pickups as well as Gotoh pickups. To my ears those work the best for what I am doing.

    New Schecter JAPANESE series

I have to say that I am really excited about these guitars. If you have ever owned an FGN or another Fujigen produced guitar you know just how good they are. I have a FGN Les Paul and it is fan and away better than any Gibson I have played. The Japanese fretwork is always spot on!

What is The Lexus of Guitars?

If you hard enough you can find a brand new Aria Pro II PE (made in Japan). Those guitars are absolutely the finest made guitars that I can think of.

    What’s wrong with my guitars?

I agree strings are one of the biggest factors in terms of guitars tone. Specifically the guage and type of winding that you use.

    Japanese Les Paul style guitars

I have seen that on many guitars where a wire has “just enough” to reach the pot or switch. I’m sure the factories that manufacture these guitars calculate exactly the amount of wire they need down to the centimeter so it doesn’t cost them any more than needed.
