Hi guys, My bandmate is currently using my RG7321 but sooner of later he needs is own 7 string. But his wishlist... pretty damn hard to find a guitar to his linking. He doesn't like the standard body shape, is needs to be something 'different' and he does not want active pickups. Also, it has...
so basically it's just a way of EQing. Now I use Cubase 5 and that comes with just a 4 band eq. Is there a free vst that will give me more bands? meanwhile, i'll look into automated EQ thing.... see how that works out. Thanks!
I'm trying to mix some songs for my band but I am facing some problems with that. I have 2 guitars that play different thing most of the time. Whatever I try, it always sounds so compressed..... an example: https://soundcloud.com/soulthief/mixing-problem Now in this case, there are 2 guitar...
personlly i would go for the Ibanez. If you want to tune down the extra scale length will do wonders. Also I find die 26.5" extremly comfotable! (I own a RGD2127z) For pickups BKP are alway's good and what Sepultorture said, DiMarzio D-activators would do nice. I have those in my RG7321. Sounds...
I'm adjusting a guitar from standard E tuning to D standard. But i was wondering what is a better string gauge? .11 or .12 I'm not gonna do a lot of solo's.. maybe a little theme here or there.. but mostly just riffs.
So, after my old BC Rich died.. I needed a new guitar for lower tune music (D standard/drop C) I wanted something differnt than an Ibby 'cause I already have 4 and i'm getting tired of swopping those pups! After checking out some Mayones which were WAY over budget I took a look at ESP LTD...
New question, I thought just to bump this thread instead of making a new one. Since a few weeks I started to use my old BC Rich Beast.. It comes from 2003 back then they had every month an other body art on a model... blablabla who cares :) I tuned the thing down to a drop C with .11 strings...
I did tell him that before the gig but he said he didn't had the money to replace them. But yeah they are finished....... like playing the guitar with rusted strings :squint:
Next time i'm gonna change strings i will film it. I cannot explain exactly what my problem is. I know for sure i don't cut my strings to short although that clips showed me how to save me a lot of time...... It's just, the strings come out off the tremolo, it slips out of the tremolo like i...
He has drumlesson for such a long time... I'm sure he is schooled with rudiments. Those things are basic stuff isn't it? He know's he needs to work on his dynamics. This thread will encourage him to work on that even more i guess He knows we appreciate him.. he knows it all to well  He...
Here are some pics: Not the best quality photo's but the battary of my camera is empty so I had to use my cell phone. I use .10 strings (elixer if that is any information), it happens mostly on the G, A and low E string and my tuning is a half step down so Eb. Hope this helps. I cut the...
I replace the stings all at once. I have the tremolo on my xiphos fixed. On my rgd i just put an AA battary under the tremolo put thay already pop out before i remove that battary. Every time i replace strings it's a suprise wich strings are going to pop out
I'm starting to develop a pretty good trauma of the tremolo's on my ibby's. I have a Xiphos (or xtp700) and a rgd2127z but whenever i'm changing strings, those damn things are poping out of the damn bridge. I do not have the courage to put on new strings on my xiphos. Every time I wanna put...
Right, while, the mic placment is good. Gives me good tones and no phasing. So basicly what i have to do is set everything at noon record, messing with eq on my amp, record a new sample, and so on until I hit that sweet spot? Also makes sence now why i don't hear the bass in the...
