Tried a couplet of things but i really can't get it lower. Now i put my headphones in the output of my UX2 so i can hear the dry signal en play along with the click track and after that i can listen back how it sounds. maybe i should use someting completly diffrent? maybe something like guitar...

Settings sure do a lot... I believe that the aftermath or miracle man both are great and when i have one of those it sure will sound good. That's why i am very focused on definition in this case Also if i listen to the "modren metal" sound clips, the only diffrence i hear is in the solo...

I thought there were loose plastic caps you could fit over the D-Activator 7. That way you hide the gap that is left behind due to those big EMG's. I could be wrong thou... I have only passive guitars.

Don't be shocked.. but what about a Ibanez GRGR121EX? it's new for under 200 euro's and sounds pretty damn good.... I have one to rip apart and load it with new stuff... but the thing sound really damn good!
