So i'm trying to get a very nice guitar sound but so far i haven't been succesfull.... The reason for this is quite simple.. i don't have a f*cking clue what the hell i'm doing.... I use a randall T2 amp with a randall cap with V30's in it I use a Boss gt-10 in the fx loop for whenever i need a...
Dunlop tortex 1.14 But for x-mas i've got 2 little boxes with steve vai signature picks. Dunno how thick they are.. it say's only "heavy" but they play very nice :)
Well the tuning will be Bb and i don't change my tunings that much.. besides that i always have my other 7 then to tune different. Also, the price diffrents doesn't bother me.. i just wanna have a good guitar and not a guitar i that need a lot of maintenance cause it was just to cheap to be...
So I want to buy a new 7 string but I just don't know wich one... I'm ended up with 2 potential guitars, LTD MH-417 and a Ibanez RGD 2127z I like both guitars, although i'm not a big fan of trems 'cause I can't get them to stay in tune although so far i couldn't get the ibanez out of tune...
well.. i don't record anything at home. I only mix things home. I record at the band practice space where i have a sm57 and a hard disk recorder. I take it of the recorder on the computer and start mixing. vocals and drum same way only the bass recording is done at somebody who has the pretty...
well about the ram and processor, if got a 2.6 ghz quad core with 8 gb ram, that should be enough.. i check if it was a processor overload but my processors can handle cubase with ease. But how do i set the audio buffers higher? maybe that will make a diffrence
Hi, I'm using cubase 5 at home to mix the recorded audio for my band but i got one very, VERY annoying problem. When i hit the play button (or space bar whatever) it lags like hell and has many sudden stops so i can't listen properly if the mix is good and everything is put where it should...
I'm suprised MaxofMetal didn't replied here.. he had some nice pics to explain things a bit more.. so sen him a PM, he is the lord and master over every floating trem ;-)
Well... i leave the strap buttons at the place where they are and just put the new strap buttons where i wanted them to be so no big holes.. As for the armrest, yeah i figured that one out also, so when i'm not playing i'm standing very comfortable :)
I also read on this forum and the internet that the in stock pickups are not great and better off putting new ones in. Now I personlly like D-activators but what are other (maybe better) options for this guitar?
I find them both nice guitars but I think you want to change your pickups. The pickups in the RG7321 sounds pretty terrible if you ask me, Dimarzio D-activators of PAFs are way better options to put in to. For the RGA7, those pickups sound muddy to me and active pickups that run on 2AA 1,5 volt...
sorry if i'm now acting like a complete noob.. so don't kill me for this :P but how do i put it before the gt-10?? Of cource i do not use the pre amp of the gt-10.. that sucks my randall gives my by far better tones then the gt-10
