    Thoughts on RME products?

I had a studio several years ago where we used an older version of RME Hammerfall 9652 (not RME AD/DA converters though) and that card was rock solid (while running 24channels in and out, and never a hick-up) and today I'm using an RME Babyface in my home studio, which is enough for me since I...

    Pickup Recommendation for RG7321

I've got BKP ceramic Warpigs in an RGD2127FX (also basswood) and I find them a perfect fit, with both great bottom end and lots of clarity. They're aggressive, but controlled and the neck pickup can be really smooth and great for either clean sounds or lead sounds, while the bridge is for...

    Automated/motorized control surfaces?

I'm using Cubase and I have the Steinberg CC121 controller which is a wonderful tool and I would not want to be without it. But since you are using Logic, that won't help you, but on the question on if it's worth using a control surface of some sort, I'd say .... yes! I mean, to me, just...

    NGD: Ibanez RGD2127FX

HNGD! You've got a sweet axe right there, mate. :hbang: Got one of these myself and it's amazing except for the stock pickups (changed mine to BKP ceramic Warpigs the same day I got it), so I understand that you're changing them too, to really get the full potential. Otherwise these guitars are...

Seeking out a new Guitar, need advice!

I have an Ibanez RGD2127FX and I highly recommend it. Great quality, great neck (26,5"), great playability and all over fantastic except for the pickups, they need to be swapped for something else (I recommend BKP ceramic Warpigs), otherwise it's an outstanding guitar and it looks killer. I...

    Best mid-high range 7 strings

Oops, just saw that there was such a low limit on the budget, I just thought of mid-high range 7-string and that it was a good suggestion for that segment. My bad. :wallbash:

    Best mid-high range 7 strings

I'd recommend an Ibanez RGD2127FX. Might be a bit angled towards metal, but is still pretty versatile (especially if tuned B-E instead of factory A-D tuning). Around 1100€

    NPBD (new pickup bolts (BKP))

The Aftermaths don't sound good in the RGD? I put ceramic Warpigs in mine (2127FX) which is a perfect match. Depends on what type of sound you're after of course. Does look pretty sweet with the black bolts though.:yesway:

Moderate to High Output pickups for Basswood?

That definitely is a fact. I have a calibrated set of ceramic Warpigs (in an RGD2127FX=basswood) and they're just ....ing amazing. As crushing as it can be in the bridge (with both bottom end and clarity) and really nice and smooth for cleans and lead tones in the neck. In a basswood guitar...

    My modded RG7620 and RG7420

Yeah, this was a nice bump. Even if the style of the 7620 is not what I prefer, that is some damn fine work and a great result. Both guitars actually turned out great and it's nice that at least one of them found its way home again. :)

    SPDIF Audio Interface Recommendation

S/PDIF can be both coaxial (most common I think) or TOSLINK. Which do you need/prefer?

    Impressions of the RGD Prestige!

Get it! And swap the stock pickups for a nice pair of Bare Knuckle Pickups (they'll blow EMG's off the ground any time). The RGD's are simply awesome guitars (got the 2127FX myself with BKP's in it, of course). :)
