I'd recommend an Ibanez RGD2127FX. Might be a bit angled towards metal, but is still pretty versatile (especially if tuned B-E instead of factory A-D tuning). Around 1100€

The Aftermaths don't sound good in the RGD? I put ceramic Warpigs in mine (2127FX) which is a perfect match. Depends on what type of sound you're after of course. Does look pretty sweet with the black bolts though.:yesway:

That definitely is a fact. I have a calibrated set of ceramic Warpigs (in an RGD2127FX=basswood) and they're just ....ing amazing. As crushing as it can be in the bridge (with both bottom end and clarity) and really nice and smooth for cleans and lead tones in the neck. In a basswood guitar...

Yeah, this was a nice bump. Even if the style of the 7620 is not what I prefer, that is some damn fine work and a great result. Both guitars actually turned out great and it's nice that at least one of them found its way home again. :)

Get it! And swap the stock pickups for a nice pair of Bare Knuckle Pickups (they'll blow EMG's off the ground any time). The RGD's are simply awesome guitars (got the 2127FX myself with BKP's in it, of course). :)
