Well, since he didn´t comment I´ll just speculate: The return of the RGA121 would make perfectly sense as a 1000$ entry level Prestige. Probably with some more conservative colors or even actual natual finishes to keep the price down. Trem and fixed Version, DiM, SD or EMG Pickups and everybody...

So is the RGA line (>500$) still dead?

The weight was specified on the dealers website. I got it from Station Music near Augsburg. Never been there before but they do have a very nice collection of Gibson/Fender Customs, PRS and even Carvin. Well after scanning the web daily I finally found a store that had one in stock, two actually. One weighing 3,5kg the other 4,0kg. So I drove over there asap and tested both of them. While both had decent (not awesome; one was missing a pickguard screw...Gibson, right? :wavey:) build quality...

Nice, I´m waiting in line for mine, too. Should take another couple of weeks my dealer said. Any chance you could look under the pickguard? Is there a routed channel or not? I´d love to take that of. Or try a black one. Or leave it as beautyful as it is. Have fun with it.

Maybe it´s a neck through RGA Prestige. I would buy that!

Actually there is an unfinished RG920QMZ in the vid that was posted. Though the quality ain´t good since it´s a screenshot from a vid I´m positive it´s a veneer (and negative at the same time :D )

btw the specs clearly say those have ebony boards...

Yes, it does. IBANEZ GUITARS link doesn´t direct to the guitar but if you click through then you will see. Don´t know if there are different versions. Don´t think so. Don´t know, whats right. It actually doesn´t have the label of the back of the headstock.

Yeah it´s funny...so what. It´s an illustration of how the guitar looks and as long as they don´t have a real pic it´s better than none, isn´t it? I´m sure, the actual guitar you might get wont have a 6 string body and a 7 neck ;)
