Got an bit of bargain on a Engl Fireball (£450 in decent condition) so I'm note looking for a 5150. Had totally forgotten about this post so hadn't posted a reply.

I'm after a either a Peavey 5150 or 6505 in the head or combo format, must be in good condition. Would like to collect the amp so within 50ish miles of Manchester would be preferred, although I'm not against having a head version shipped. If anyone knows any where else it may be worth...

I have a fascination with _any_ old 5150 head, but I'd sure yours is very nice. I'm hoping the Bugera 6260 I just contacted the company about is like other Behringer products and a good rip off of the 5150 so I can run one in a dual amp setup with my DSL

Most computer component places will stock it such as this lot. They run off 12volts so you should be able to find a supply somewhere in the amp. The problem you'll probably find is with the inverters in the lighting kit will add a hum to you amp. The other option would be led lighting bars...
