^^ Thanks mate :) I loev the interpretation, and appreciate the feedback. I noticed that I overdid the going for the 'vintage' sound with the guitars. I think boosting somewhere between 8-10k would have really solved the problem :)

Very cool dude. The guitar toanz are the shizzle. It sounds like a dog barking at some parts \m/ \m/ What's your recording setup? One thing I noticed is that the kick has a bit too much low end on it, but it could be just me.

I've never been too big on saturation plugins on my mix. I have seen it do great things to individual guitar tracks, and it's wonderful when parallel compressing my drums. I'm guessing people turn to these Saturation plugins hoping for warmth that they hear in good mixes. Warmth will definitely...

Why don't you try Quad as suggested above? Try different chord voicings and the such. 2 by you, 2 by him. Pan it out like no tomorrow, and the playing inconsistencies are quite evened out. Within limits, of course :)
