i'd like to know this as well. i've just got a standard C7 FR but i wanna put some gold hardware on it, but i've been having trouble finding hardware for 7s to begin with.

i've got a schecter c-7 fr and i dig it. for the money the quality is great. i've had no issues with it so far, but do see switching out the ducans for some 707s sometime in the near future, but overall its a pretty solid guitar.

the one with the maple fretboard looks amazing. is that a custom?

yea i don't see why you can't do both. i never play with people who use sevens and it always works out just fine.

ok so maybe a 12-70? or would a 13-70 hold up a little better? my c7 is just the standard but it's got the duncan actives on it, not blackouts, but they sound almost identical. i've been thinking of swapping them out though for an emg 81-7/60-7 combo to get some more chunk out of the bridge and...

well i've got a 26.5" scale so that'll work in my favor. so what string gauge would you suggest, 12-68? something to that affect?

so i've been contemplating going to drop G tuning. me and a friend of mine want to start an off the wall just plain rediculous grind band so i think drop G would be perfect for it, but i'm not sure, i've got a locking trem so i can't just try and see. i was wondering if anyone has tried this...

it's just the standard verson with the duncan design actives. the blackjack was just a little out of my price range at the moment and i got a great price on the c-7. i couldn't pass it up.

it looks somewhat similar to a dean soltero. but i do like the single coil at the neck.

you're best bet is too look at the dealer list on the schecter site and then call them up and ask them if they have it in stock so you don't take the trip for no reason.

ok i think i'm convinced and really impressed. so i think i'm gonna go for the agile interceptor. now all i've gotta find some new pickups to put in that thing. one last thing is there any guitar you would suggest to try out that has a similar neck to the agile, just to make sure.

thanks for the info guys. really helpfully! so how is the trem on the interceptor, i've had problems with similar floyds before, they would never stay set up, the intonation was always off, i don't want to have the same problem, but it would be awesome to be able to pull off some dive bombs...
