    I know how to set up a guitar. I'd also like to gather information before messing with proprietary hardware on a $5000 instrument. The small screw on the front on the saddle - facing the bridge pickup. Does that need to be loose to allow the saddle to lower or raise?

    How does a Suhr Modern hold up to more modern guitars?

    I love my Suhr Modern 7. It is a beast, it handles metal really well, the pickups are insanely versatile and the fit/finish (Bengal Burst) are exceptional. It was basically a GG Sig spec'd to a sevenstring. I have bonded with it.
