[UK] ESP LTD 2005 SC-607B Natural Gloss MINT

Hi folks, Up for sale is my Stef Carpenter (Deftones) signature baritone seven string guitar in natural gloss finish. Made in 2005 shortly before this particular model was discontinued (and has since become very RARE). I am the original owner of this guitar and have taken extremely good...

    ESP LTD SC-608B 2008 [UK]

I don't need to say much about this guitar here, if you're on this site you likely know everything there is to know about it already. This is an original 2008 spec model, with mahogany body, and in my opinion this sounds and feels way better than the more recent models. Completely stock with EMG...

New He Is Legend "Something Witchy"

Their first stuff with the new drummer too... IMHO it seems like the old drum parts were a bit better developed, and locked in better with the rest of the band. I loved all the extra bits of percussion, shakers/tambourines etc all over It Hates You as well, just seemed to carry the groove along...

    Let's post your signature models!

This thread was made for me... Here's the SC triplets! My (battle scarred) 2001 K7, and K5. Used to have the blue K7 as well... Fender Jag-Stang, Kurt's choice.

Anybody like PORTAL? (Blackened Death from Aussie)

Portal are bloody brilliant, some of the darkest most unhuman shit ever. Let's face it, you have to be that kind of magic cross between genius and maniac to wear a grandfather clock on your head.

Sunn O)))) can someone tell me the point?

More so than 'sound texture' it's about the immersion of it. After a while of highly focused listening to this sort of stuff it becomes like a trance. For me this style really makes sense when you see it live, you're deafened by it, and it shakes your entire body. Harsh noise anyone? Purge |...

    6 string Baritone options ...?

Always digged the MMM1, occasionally you get one pop up on the 'bay for around $500. That OLP MM5 always struck me as a good n cheap beater baritone. Don't knock those fenders though dude, the Jag bari's can sound utterly brutal! The ESP George Lynch sig baritone is about as metal as you can...

What tubescreamer variant or clone should I check out?

Thundertomate make some cool ass boosters, I have one that I basically keep on all the time to fatten up my clean signal, but shove em at the end of your chain and they're awesome for searing lead.

Making the Jump from watts to Ghz. What do you think of my choices?

I could go in depth into the reasons why the Axe FX is just a massive con, but I'll surely be hanged for making such claims on this site ;) As sage said, there's a lot of software based amp sims that are great, the 'Amp Designer' plugin that comes with Logic Pro I think fairs up really well...
