    Mick Thompson with ESP now?

In his new sig Fishman pickup video he has two horizons (other one that is shown only briefly is the same black sparke one that is on the first post of this thread) and other is cool red one, not sure what that excact colour is called by ESP. At this point is seems that the horizon will be most...

    New All That Remains

I really liked this new song.. It has enough of all that old "All that remains" vibe to me with more modern take of Jason to things. I liked also the chorus and didn't feel the track being too busy. I was not familiar with Jason before this but am fan now for sure. Also that new drummer was a...

He surely is. I think he contributes quite much songwriting wise. Jesper apparently played only bass for the record and since Jesper doesn't do live shows basically at all in Cyhra/Halo effect, Euge has good spot in Cyhra. He will also play couple reunion shows next summer with his old band...

Euge apparently got another 80s ESP (M-1 Custom "Kimono") and is giving me GAS once again. Reverse lawsuit headstock looks really cool on this guitar:

That's cool! Josh is one my fav metal players. Is there big difference in the output level between the bridge and neck. I am not familiar with the Fishman single coils, but I really love the Fluence moderns.

While this is true and there has been some examples of quite big neck width differences with different eras models with "same profile", I would still think that if you really like extra thin neck on one, you would surely adapt to all other extra thin U necks after a short while.

10% for Japanese taxes or what? I calculated the price for this with their "estimate for overseas customer" on their page. The guitar price 430000 JPY as tax free and Shipping 70000 JPY with the custom process on their end and 5000 JPY for the international bank transfer. I assume that they...

Thank you for your knowledge. I just posted my calculations as I made them to showcase how much the importing actually increases the fees and how "good deal" on international market can end up costing more than "reasonable/bad deal" on the local market once you add up everything. Maybe I just...

I checked their page (hybrid guitars) and with shipping to Northern europe the price estimate with shipping would be 505000 JPY ~=3078€ and then I would need to pay taxes and custom fees 24% + 3,7% (custom fee was half percent higher than I remembered originally) so the price would be 3930€. The...

What people would consider fair price for ESP amorous original from 2014? Apparently this is same than the mystique but named different due to market area. The sales add mentions that this was made in Kiso factory so does it mean it is custom Shop made run but with specs of their choice? I am...

I just noticed that ESP doesn't have E-II model eclipse with 24 frets at the current lineup. This seems strange to me since almost all the EC-1000 models have 24 frets and majority of those also have rounded neck joint. Maybe they wanted to keep it bit more traditional or something.. That being...

    Solar Guitars by Ola Englund

Thanks, to me this colour always reminds of Dimebags Dean, even though this is bit different with black on the edge of burst and satin finish. It is nice guitar to play and in general Explorer shape is my favourite to play. This has slightly smaller body than my Ltd snakebyte, but feel is still...

    Solar Guitars by Ola Englund

After two weeks of waiting my Solar E2.6 landed (lots of political strikes going on at the moment on different shipment related fields in Finland, so not Solars fault). Overall I am really happy with this except there's something wonky going on with the volume pot and you can over turn a bit...

I am the second owner of this so not sure if something has been done to frets, but I am under assumption that frets are as it was from the factory and fretwork is really nice. I really recommend getting model with SS-frets. My frets at my LTD snakebyte (the guitar I play most) start to be quite...

    Solar Guitars by Ola Englund

Not excactly fair comparison to compare good deal of used guitar to new prices. Where I live (Finland) I would pay over 3k€ for that E-II if it was new and about 1500-1600 for Solar 1.7 models with evertune, so at least E-IIs cost almost double as new here.. Also there are plenty of used Solars...

Solar guitars is having St patricks day sale at least in Europe. They advertise -17% on green guitars only in 17.3, but at least in few cases the percentage was bit higher. I jumped on this E2.6LB (discount about 21%): Hopefully I don't get unlycky with the fretboard. This one had stained...
