I have two thoughts about this that might sound contradictory. Indonesian and Chinese factory made guitars will often have issues like this regardless of price. Strandbergs made in Indonesia and seem to me to have worse QC. If you bought it brand new and don't like it, return it.

I'm always a fan of anything prestige. I mean, I tried one prestige that was kind of a dud, but that's the exception to the norm.
