[Help] Is it okay to have a fret end like this on a new guitar?

You could try a VERY fine sand paper....like a 2000 grit. It would remove the stain and actually make the fret end even smoother. No harm to the wood etc.

Ceriatone Chupacabra 50 High Gain Playthrough

Correct. The other 2 stock (or mod added) gain stages, based on the Jose mods are basically adding in diode clipping. This ALWAYS drops the volume. Easily loud and fixed by turning up the master. I built a Chupa 50 as well. Awesome.

Hot topic of the week? Nameless VS Amped Roots

I find using the KT88 power tubes on the new Omega just makes the sound killer. It always seems to make me like it more. I own a few other Neurals and shouldn't spend the money. Omega is my fav, but to be fair....they are all very similar with some tweaking. Really, it's the IR's/mics you...

Vadim Taranov Raven Volcanic - Omega AmpWorks Obsidian in a VST plugin!

Thanks for your demo. Demo version of plugin sounds pretty good. Don't know how it compares to the real thing, but it's damn good VST for free demo or low price. Vadim's stuff is awesome and he is good to deal with as well.

    Mercuriall Euphoria review/demo

@Guitarjon is all class. His Youtube vids have been stellar and very helpful for a long time. His replies and "troll" or "hater" interaction is done with respect and a good heart. I think he just likes to rip some heavy guitars, share his passion and is just a good human being. Regarding...

    Modern and Weird Floyd Variants

I have a custom built Markline 7 string with a Sophia fully loaded bridge. All options, global tuner etc. It is sick AF. Lots of experience with other trems and this is the best for stability, tuning, sustain etc. Expensive....yes. Killer bridge.

Screamin Eagle preamp pedal based on the ENGL e530

I will add this....I have an Engl E530 preamp in my rack. It's very good and has a good advantage with lower tunings over many others I own. Definitely does the Brutz with an OD in front. If a pedal can come close you will be happy for down tuned, modern metal.

Those of you using Progressive Foundry SDX...

I've got the progessive SDX, for a few years now. No issues. If you stick with one kit for a track, you can just adjust volume vs the midi hits strength if you need more oomph. Prog SDX doesn't come across as lightly played with midi values over 100. Good luck

NAD Ceriatone Chupacabra 50 watt with MODS

Hi there, built a Chupa from Nik and it is awesome. It is essentially a hot rodded JCM 800 50 watt amp. I added many mods and I love it. Purple snakeskin as it's inspired by your 80's MTV hair metal god videos and the like. Most mods can be seen in the pics and listed below: 5 way voice switch...

    Graphtech ratio for 7 string?

I put the graph tech ratio locking tuners on 2 of my guitars and they are amazing. It REALLY helps make the tuning of the sensitive strings easier. Like the G string and E. #3 and #6 I would just contact Graph Tech direct and ask them to sell you another low E / 6 string tuner with the set...

    Adding a second noise suppressor

The ISp decimator g string does NOT have 2 gates in 1. It either gates your fx loop OR in front of amp. This is the same ability as the Zuul from Fortin. The difference is that the Zuul uses an input signal to key/turn on off the gate.....the ISP uses your actual guitar signal the same way but...
