It didn't have the lowest action from the beginning, but I overlooked it until recently. I like the guitar. Yes, NY is New York. $200 is more than I want to spend for a setup. :)
High areas marked. This is the SLATHX3-8 with Duncan passives. :)
Most of those high spots aren't that noticeable, but the 2nd, 9th, and 12th frets are the biggest culprits. :)
It's almost as if whoever was working on the frets dropped all the frets on the floor after bending them and...

And how close to the strings do you have your pickups (fretted at the 24th fret)? :)
For me, I can fit my 1.35mm pick exactly between the strings and the pickups, both for the lowest string and the highest string. :)
I've accepted the fact that the bottom string will never be super tight if you go low. So I've decided to lighten up the top six strings to at least make the string tension even across the board. :)
