    Klein building guitars again

Wasn't familiar with the Kubicki Factor, but Google tells me I actually don't mind the looks. I had the privilege of playing my former teacher's rosewood-necked Lorenzo Klein and it was a dream.

    Agile Interceptor 8 strings!

Has anyone heard when the cut-off date is for getting in on this run? Also, the Kahler 2228K is a studmount, right? I was hoping for the flatmount.

    8 strings, 0 frets. It's (basically) finished!

This is awesome! :yesway: I love the hybrid nut and bridge. I'm wanting an 8- (or maybe 7-)string fretless myself. nice job!

    Agile Interceptor 8 strings!

Wow, these look amazing! Thanks Kurt!! :yesway::yesway: Is there/will there be a Rosewood/Tribal Red/25.5" option? Do we know yet what the materials & grain patterns will be for the tops? what about the nut, locking? non-locking?

    Websites to order single strings?

OK, I have to plug my buddy's shop--String by Mail. $4 flat-rate shipping. Singles are listed under each brand & series. I'm not sure if they sell bass singles, but Scott's a great guy and if you send him an email he may be able to work something out.

Any interest in an Agile 8-string for Lead players?

I'm in the same boat, but inexperienced in these matters. I'm wanting to try Kahler w/ graphite nut & locking tuners. Vansinn, you make some very good suggestions, IMO.

    25,5" scale 8-string

Very nice! I like this a lot! :yesway: I take it you're doing a lot of shifting and not stretching 10 frets?

    Agile Interceptor 8 strings!

Aesthetically I'm partial to the 4/side, but maybe y'all don't agree...

    Agile Interceptor 8 strings!

Yeah, I think I'm wanting a C-8 w/ a Kahler, but w/o the expense and pain of adding the Kahler (and w/o the 808s & their weird routs).

    Agile Interceptor 8 strings!

Is it just me or do some Interceptors have pointer horns? Personally, I'm partial to the more rounded ones, or even Agile's PS body. Also, from the pics of Interceptor 7-strings w/ Floyds I think the top is flat enough for the Kahler. Thanks for making those mock ups, Dave. They look...

Pickup ring for mounting BKP in Agile Intrepid Pro

    great idea! :idea::yesway:

Agile Interceptor question re: the archtop

Has anyone verified/checked this? I've been wondering myself. This may be lame, but I like the looks of the flat mount much more than the stud.

    Agile Interceptor 8 strings!

Oh, yes, I forgot to mention that, too. I'm highly in favor of a carved top. :yesway: I believe the existing Interceptor body is flat enough on top to still use the flat mount Kahler, but I could be wrong. I think binding would be great, too. I love the 4x4 tuner arrangement, rather than the...

    Agile Interceptor 8 strings!

Newbie here; so not sure how much my opinions count. But anyway, here's what I'm looking for: whichever wood sounds best w/ low tunings (alder?) ditto bolt/thru shortest scale that would intonate properly w/ F# (or E?) I know this is controversial, but I'd really like 25.5" (I don't mind a...

Any interest in an Agile 8-string for Lead players?

Hi, I'm new here--actually my first post. I'm seriously wanting an 8 and have been reading up (a lot to read!). So, on this issue, I would be a definite maybe if it had a Kahler and ebony or rosewood. I'd also love a PRS-type body (AG-3000)? Cheers
