NGD - Kramer Turbulence R729 Prototype

Awesome looking guitar. :yesway: I'm curious what other new things they have going on for 2010. I'm patiently waiting for them to update their website.

New cynic song played in Detroit and I was there! (video)

I'm surprised so many people participated in the yoga! Paul was abusing the trem quite a bit. Tymon was great though. They were nice for the brief moment I talked to them at the merch booth. Also Devin was saying all kinds of funny, weird stuff.

NGACD (Guitar and Cab) - 56k = not pointy

:metal: awesome. I think I like it more now that I see it's not as big as I thought it was. Also, nice Emperor shirt. :yesway:

    2010 Schecter Line FAIL (IMO)

I'm kind of curious who you would say is "with the times." I haven't seen much this year that made me think, now that is innovative!

    New Parkers for 2010

Variety is good. I can certainly understand why they are making a more traditional guitar. It looks sleek and is bound to appeal to a lot of people, but the lack of something unconventional disappoints me a bit. I am only one person though, so I doubt it even matters.

    New Parkers for 2010

"You know those delicious and unique crackers we're known for? Guess what!? We have a 'new' flavor: plain cracker. Enjoy!" If I wanted a plain cracker, I can think of other brands I would prefer one from. Different strokes for different folks I suppose.

    New Parkers for 2010

I'm not digging it. For a company that has done some innovative stuff, this feels like a step backward.

With NAMM Looming, Nick Seeks Your Advice and Feedback!

Cool. :yesway: Is Komet Amplification showing? I would be curious to hear your opinion of their amps. Also would suggest Roccaforte if it hasn't been mentioned and if they're showing. Edit* nevermind. according to their website, they are factory direct now.

With NAMM Looming, Nick Seeks Your Advice and Feedback!

Wizard Amplification Elmwood Amps Not exactly sure I would say they're ideal for metal, but they have a great sound.

ATTENTION - for those interested in B.C. Rich Mark Rizzo 7 Stealth (and other BCrich)

:agreed: You get what you pay for. I wouldn't expect any premium "mahogany" on any MIK or MII guitars. I wouldn't be surprised if Schecter's mahogany guitars are nato too (or LTD, Ibanez, etc. for that matter).

Looking to get my first baritone. Any suggestions?

I think if you're going to chug riff, then a 6 is fine. Danelectro also makes a baritone, but I don't think it will offer the tone you're after.

    PRS Vs Ibanez?

HSH does have the potential to offer more tonal possibilities, but a stock Ibanez RG isn't going to have more tonal possibilities than a stock Custom 24. In either case, you're getting 5 different tones. Also Custom 24s have the option of coming with a 5 way blade switch or 3 way with a...

    Possible 2010 Ibbys

Those RGDs look cool. :yesway: I'm not sure if they're $2k cool however.

ERGs - Once You Play Them, You Can't Go Back? Your Thoughts

Personally, no, I like my 7 for some things but not all things. I also would have a hell of a time selling that Gretsch. I'm sure the tone of that guitar is gorgeous and I have difficulty thinking of any production 7 or 8 that could emulate it.
