NGD: Who loves 80s shredders? Fred loves 80s shredders...

Gary Kramer (http://garykramerguitars.com) has been back at it producing super-strats for a while now. Gibson now owns Kramer name, so they had to rebrand it but that's about it. They don't make reissues though, some new weird and cool stuff. You've prbably seen 'Deltawings' around this forum...

    NGD- GKG content inside...

Leo is a big fan of Criss' Mindfreak TV show and stuff and some time ago he made a custom guitar as a sort of an homage to the man, The Great Illusionist himself. They could not hook up for quite a while for Leo to present Criss the guitar but finally it panned out. Criss was very kind and...

It really depends on the light intensity and angle (which I personally find amusing and fun). If you sorta bath it in light it looks kinda like : or

    Gary Kramer finishes

New finishes in production. I'm aware they are not sevenstrings but use your imagination. New Deltawing Turbulence ('Alien') 729 series has similar 'look and feel', just different colors. One is Ferrari Yellow sort of, and the other shall remain incognito at the moment. I would publish them, but...

Sweet Demonstration from NAMM on Odd Time Sigs.

Well it seems I am too stupid to figure out the way to embed YouTube link using standard BBC code, so nevermind. Not a NAMM topic but hopefully not an offtopic. Some years ago I got introduced to Kora music from southwestern Africa. Very difficult stuff to keep up rhythm with. There's no...

NGD - Frebulence 2.0 is home! :D (GKG R729 prototype)

Understood, but not all frets were scalloped, which leads me to believe they stripped (if they ever put it there in the first place) while they were thinning the fretboard to create final radius. No use guessing, I'll ask the man later.

NGD - Frebulence 2.0 is home! :D (GKG R729 prototype)

My bad. I read that somewhere long time ago, and as Internet would have it, they just propagated false info (good ole copy/paste). As for the 'interceptor' part, there really is (was) a car called Jensen Interceptor and it looks the part, pretty neat too. It's actually quite a collectible item I...

NGD - Frebulence 2.0 is home! :D (GKG R729 prototype)

I know, I was joking. this one actually has side markers. Well, some of 'em. Added at a later time. I think Leo said he did it by mistake. The original idea was to f@#$#k me up as much as humanly possible. Or merely to make me rely on my ear. Like I said, I never know what certain...

NGD - Frebulence 2.0 is home! :D (GKG R729 prototype)

I got that, markers should be there, I was refering to actually spending time playing above 24th (12th) fret in terms of playing technique. I had the feeling the other gentleman somehow felt that playing or listening to this type of instrument would be somehow different than playing a regular 6...
