Actually, I've had the 1960b with 4 amps and a couple of preamps. The only one I hated it with was a 6505+ which led me to get the Bogner. The notes break differently w the v30's and seem to have less attack but they are also less shrill.

It's one of the better albums to come out so far this year. I think it even topped God's Equation. For some reason I wasn't that excited for it, but I ended up liking it a bit more than some of the albums I was more excited for.

Yeah, I have a Marshall Valvestate 8200 head. The knobs would stick completely on some of the pots if I didn't use it for a few weeks. Out of the 6 or so amps I've owned, this is the only amp that does it. As recommended above the contact cleaner works. Good Luck.
