Hey everyone, I want to first say thanks for being such an awesome forum, I hardly ever post, but the amount of knowledge I've gained on here has been wonderful.
I'm super excited to share this, because I've always wondered if others have felt the same. About 2 summers ago, I purchased my...

So, after working my ass of and saving some money, its now time for me to be a big boy and get an 8 string. I'm very picky, I like a superstrat-ish body style, ebony fretboard, no inlays.
The only problem is, i find myself in a difficult position seeing as there are a ton of options out there...
So i love my 333, but im much more of a plain and simple kind of guy. Before i try to do this and ruin my amp, anyone know a good way to remove the giant chrome plates off of it?
Getting a noisegate today, i have $150 to spend on one. To get a tight metal sound would i benefit more from say getting an MXR noiseclamp for my loop or just getting a decimator for the front of my amp?
So since I've started building a lot larger pedal board, I find Im doing a ton of tap dancing. I have a double trouble overdrive and a compressor that I use for my high gain tones, but then my cleans are made up of a ton of ethereal noises with reverbs, delays, chorus', etc. I need a good midi...
So ive been programming drums and writing my own music. I have an EP's worth of songs already done on drums and now i just need to record guitars. I have a bugera 333 and a floor pod plus. I know an m audio fast track or the line 6 toneports would be the more ideal thing for recording in my...
So ive had FL for awhile now, and im incredibly used to it. I bought Addictive Drums and i was to program them in FL and put them in reaper. Once i try to inport them in reaper it just comes up as blank. Help? Im obviously a total noob at programming drums.
I play in a metalcore band and i really need to boost and tighten up my tone. I want to be tight, thick, and versatile so that when i start playing a lead it goes through the mix very well. Ive considered these od pedals:
Ibanez ts9
Boss sd-1
Maxon od9
Way Huge Green Rhino
if you also...
So i have a bugera 333 head and i really like the tone. I play in a metal band thats similar to bands such as a plea for purging so a tight low end tone is critical. Now, i run the head through a marshall mg cab. i used to play solid state but all i could afford to get was the head at the time...
So i just got a bugera 333. I already can see that a noisegate is absolutely necessary. I have around $200. What should i get that will really make this amp come alive. I play mostly metal/djent if that helps.
so, this sounds like a good power amp. the demos ive heard sound pretty sick. do you think that its loud enough for gigs? im planning on running my pod direct. have the money, just want to know if it would be a good buy.
I have an old mim strat i never play. and i really wanna make a project out of it. So i was thinking about makiing it a baritone, making it all black, and making it an HSS configuration. With most likely a pretty high output humbucker with some very clean friendly pickups. If yall have any other...
Floor Pod Plus-->Carvin tube power amp (of some sort)--->4x12 marshall (eventually upgraded speakers but tight on money right now)
Also, eventually the possibility of adding a BBE sonic maximizer to the loop. I primarily play metal, and i wanna cut through the mix well.
Im getting a 2x12 cab and want my pod to be what i use for all my sounds live. Whats a good inexpensive power amp thats loud enough for gigs but wont have me coughin up a ton of money. my max is like $250. Perhaps stuff to look out for on ebay?
