I totally agree about the snare needing more punch. I have been trying to get more undertones in the snare to make it sound more natural and organic, and i'm trying to find that happy medium with the compression.

its the nir z snare in superior. I'd have to go back and check my eq and comp settings on the three mics. But a lot of it has to do with parallel comps on the room mics. It gives it that massive organic room sound.

Its an axefx ultra using the butter amp and and a mixture of 2 cabs and 3 mics, and a unique combo of two drive pedals.

Gotcha, yeah I used HS50 M's with a HS10 W woofer in a bass heavy room. wasn't getting that problem. was actually really satisfied with low end. Will give it a second listen though.

Sounds great! although the snare sounds a bit abrasive in the beginning. but if thats what your goin for sounds great. love the distant piano sound. is that an actual piano in a large room or a sampled piano?

Thanks! I'm extremely pleased with the sig! I used to endorse splawn amps, but this amp just took me in a whole other direction! I'm kinda bumbed that they are called fryette now though! the new logo is kinda lame! The vht logo just looks so massive!!!
