very nice guitar,but to be honest,you really have to setup it;the string to fretboard distance is really really too much.

only the speakers are more worth then you paid for the whole cab:yesway: you could swap 2 of them to for example v30s...would be an even nicer sound (it's the speaker setup i have in my 4x12)

it's a processor,it simply GETS warm/hot...but normally it's only warm.it's okay for it,won't break then.

engls are very very popular in germany,you can get a used powerball for abot 1100€s including footswitch:yesway: only critics here are the pcb-building (mesa does this too...and diezel...vht..),but normally they are very reliable.known non-reliable amps here are the diezel herbert for example.:fawk:

plz don't mention something like the f-series when seriously high-gain is asked for! indeed the fireball and the blackmore are much much better there!it's a thing of personal taste for sure,but i don't play an SE only because it's expensive:lol:

i own an engl se e670 head after owning an engl fireball for 3 years.i would definitively go with the head,it sounds better and it's cheaper than the e570 with the NEW engl poweramp (the engl se has a brandnew designed poweramp..),which is about 2000€ here in germany. the SE has a completely...

i never liked the midrange of the powerball,i simply hate it (i love my SE and loved the fireball before..).you could try to use channel 3 with lower gain and a tubescreamer!works great for a tighter and better sound in de band-context
